I'm surprised jewellery shops holding items worth that much don't have armed guards. Crazy

£40m in there and their insurance dont insist on armed guards?!!!
Got to be an inside job for them to know it had all that in there, as Im betting they werent advertising they had 43 pieces worth approx £1m each on average.

three robberies in 6 years, i think after the first £10m was nabbed they'd have improved security Although are they allowed armed guards? Thought only the armed police could carry weapons?

I think they can have some sort of armed guards, be it with guns or with tazers or something.
It just seems strange that their insurance wouldnt insist on something like that, we only carry about 200k worth of stock max in our shops yet they insist on certain security measures to even insure us.
