I am looking to get away somewhere for a few days with the misses.
Found a holiday to Bangkok that seems like a good bargain.
What's it like as a holiday location?

Well, in a top class hotel with a pool yeah maybe, but for more than a few days it could become tedious.

I don't want a beach holiday.
I want to go somewhere different. I want to use the camera a fair bit so don't want to be staying in the ghettos
Is Bangkok a good place to go to for the usual bits like buying fake watches, getting cheap suites tailored to you, shopping, eating out, sight seeing and more offbeat stuff like elephant riding?
Its £450 each for 6 nights in a Radison superior room with flights. Although they do stop off in Mumbai on the way there and back
If we went on the 12th Sept for a week would we be bang smack in the rainy season?
