They probably just look shit because of the modified craze that followed them and soon burned out.

Same with Lexus lights.....I actually liked them when they 1st appeared on the IS200

This is our demo car E36 at work at the mo, not finished but nearly there, its got BBS LM's staggard black redline's 18inch 9.5j at the rear and 8.5 at the front . still needs carbon boot to go on and coilovers

All work done by us Bmstyling also give us a call we have a standard non touched estroil Blue E36 3,2 evo for sale on a S reg its mint only 2 owners

prblem with e36 shape is they dont look special. Every chav and his mrs has an e36 318 with m3 kit and wheels on it. for that reason alone i could never own one!

E36 M3s look ace, you can spot a real one a mile off.

Do look a tad dated now, but almost retro too. So it balances out.

Id have one, infact when i eventually downsize its my first choice
