Hi mate,

I've seen that on quite a few guys Cv's (recruiment consultant for Offshore Supprt Sector)
It's like an Umbrella Qualification and under that comes various different certificates for Medical, Radio, Engineeering etc.

Think it's needed if you intedn to serve on deck as either a mate/officer or engineer! Someone correct me if i'm wrong

it covers all bases realy, im getting it because i am looking to so some yacht deliveries next year and posable get a OOW job as well.
