Saw the same one fly over mine at about 6pm then flew towards liverpool.
Can't beat the noise of a wokka-wokka
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

They nicknamed wokkas cus of the noise they make. That's what I was told by an ex-RAF unit.

Get military planes and helicopters flying over our office on a weekly basis as we are onthe edge of town at it seems to be the flight path up into the Lakes. Always come over very low too. Get a good view from my office window

My question is what the hell is it doing over here. It should be in Afghan ferrying reinforcements to the front line.

I used to live and work in Lincoln. I remember one day I was driving down that really straight Roman road near Waddington (A10 is it?) and I was treated to a full Red arrows display!
We used to get alot of foreign fighter pilots staying at the hotel in Lincoln who were doing training at Waddington. They were insane. The mad thing was, they would be shitfaced in our bar until 5am then be on a minibus to Waddington at 6am and in the air at 7am . they told me they can adjust the mix in their breathing aparatus which sobers them up really quickly?? Not sure how true it was.
The Norwegians were the worst. we used to have sports equipment on the walls of the bar as it had a sports theme. One of the Norwegians got some old wooden ski's off the wall, and tried to ski down the stairs at 4am. He fell over and fractured his ankle. Would love to know how he explained that!
