Had a fujifilm SD5000 thingy and was ok but just didnt have much versitility.

Ive got one of them, im not happy with mine, it needs a bloody good clean inside, but i just cba with it anymore, i just think mines buggered 
Nice and easy to use tho, i have seen some people get some really good results with them aswell!

SOrry to hear that jacko! Hopefully i will see some good results from it 
I do need to get a flashgun for it though,
Any ideas where i could get a decent one for a good a price ect??

I thought these had flash built in?
Wouldn't bother with a flash yet, i'd save up for a telephoto lens mate.
Shame you bought a cannon though

Yeh they have mate, but wanted to do some experimentation with a flashgun
There was a telephoto lense on ebay for 4.99 last night lol
What sort of efects does a telephoto lense create??

Zoom mate, ability to actually zoom. I think a standard lens only goes to 55mm.
