Seriously get the "proper" one.
Looks so much better!
This is like when the MegaCD2 came out and people preferred the original

The deals keep changing the on the "old" ones.
was ps3 80gb + killzone2 for £229 NEW on play.com and now there is nothing like that.
You have to remember that the old ones will be worth a bit less when the slimline takes over to.
So you save £20 now but probably will lose more then that if you come to sell it in the future.
I still would get the old fat one!
Can get it for the same price but with killzone2 (think its better then Terminator personally)
Will have warranty and probably get it replaced by a slimline if it went wrong

Went for the Slim in the end with the Sony Blu-Ray Remote Control.
Got FIFA 09 & Gran Turismo Prologue cheap 2nd hand too. Didn't see much point buying FIFA or GT new when the latest versions are coming out over the next few months

Hopefully a simple question.
On the PS3 does it connect wirelessly to your broadband so you can play online? Also, is the online gaming free?

Well it arrived yesterday. It actually looks better and feels better quality than the pictures and reviews I read had implied.
I got it connected to our wireless router but not signed up to PSN yet, kept saying DNS server error. Couldn't be bothered reading the instructions so just played on the games I got instead.
Will have a proper play about with it over the next few days. Not sure what all this media server business etc. is about yet.
Is it normal for it to want to install some massive file to be able to play on GT5 Prologue? I'm not sure if it didn't rip the game to its HDD it took that long and it wasn't an update
