Why do rabbits and the like have to decide to cross the road at just the right time so that you hear them being taken out by your splitter, sump and engine mount? 
The last thing I want to hear at night on my way home is WHACK thud thud.
Or worse, when they make it just right to get under your wheel and guts get sprayed up your mudflaps
