its a protction mode to stop the engine damaging think you gota get the codes cleared m8

I'm not dead clued up on all this sort of stuff. But I thought Corsas don't have limp mode, it'll just be something needing fixed.

they do have limp mode, mine was the crank pulley bolt had come loose on my gsi and the crank sensor was not picking up the teeth on the pulley properly

I meant a limp mode that needs to be turned off, I was inder the impression corsas use a self learning ECU that means this isn't needed.
