anyone do it? anyone know what the standard rate is per domestic item these days?
the only PAT testing i do is for the appliances in our plant but i've been asked a few times recently if i would do it outside of work too. just trying to work out if it would be worth doing to bring some extra cash in.

I always thought it was PAC testing; you learn something every day. We're charged a flat rate of 50p per item but have around 600items; so £300 annually; the guy normally does it 2/3 half days

What kind of training did you have to do?

Its a proper PAT testing course, you dont need any electrical qualifications to do it, the course is about 5 days IIRC.
