right i think its that time off the month im guna have a moan, we need to organise more meets, we in ipswich have a meet nearly every friday night where a few off us corsa owners pop down to zest car park and have a chat and abit off banter to all things vauxhall, any one is welcome to come down and have a chat, u cant miss us normally about 3 - 4 corsa b's mininium, but we need to organise more regional meets!!!
i dont know what is happening with the regional organises >?>?>?
but if no one is going to step up i will, but big respect to chris who seems to be trying more than anyone, but i think we could do more,
just take a look at other regional groups!
sorry for the moan but would like something done,
i can help any one who wants to organise locations times,
just want to meet more corsa owners, and have a laugh like the good old days

Not being funny but i have tried very hard and its not going anywhere!
I am more than willing to sort anything out and your right we need more meets!
As the better weather is here (bar now its fucking raining) we should get our selfs out more and have them meets!
Im going to make a Aug meet in the next few days as thats handy as Sept is taken up with Combe and Trax (am at both)
I would love to sort more stuff out but no one seams to take any notice as im still looked at as another kid of the block and no one takes my posts for ideas for real!
Rolling road is something i would like to sort out and a Aug meet is a deffo tbh and i will look at places at get a tread up tmrw! It just finding a location the keeps everyone happy!
Im happy to burn them miles!

My I advise that everyone makes a commitment to keep free the first Sunday of each month.
I've promoted Chris so you now have an official organiser who is already familiar with how things are done given that he's been involved in some national stuff. He is also familiar with the site-wide guidance on how to get meets as successful as possible but ultimately it will take a commitment from the members to make it happen.
All that really remain to happen is that Chris will decide where you are meeting on the 2nd August. When he makes that decision - which will be something I will discuss with him in order that he makes it wisely - then people just need to show up and have a good day.

thats sounds good, and chris im not trying to have a dig at anyone i know you try and i know what you mean about not bein taken seriously, just would like to see more meets and would 99.9% commit to most sunday meets and as for rolling road you will never make any one happy but i have a lot off connections within the motor trade due to my job,
lets get this region up and running,
and if you want a hand organiseing i dont mind helping out chris if he needs it

Damo - if this region is to succeed you can't just randomly join a thread and plug your own event, particularly when it just appears to be a cruise that you want to attend.
The official meet is on the official day, and details are available from the official member of staff.

Chris, do you have problems getting people to your meets?
Being a Regional head for another Club in this area i find that most VauxHeads dont want to come out to play!
Even offering the option for other sites to join in doesnt help either.

Chris.... let us know how your Chat goes! i think if we do join forces we could get some serious meets going.....
I'm Regional head for this area as i've already stated for JOV, i've also been talking to Mark from VODC who not only runs that club but runs the EA region as well for VODC and has just recently been made regional head for Cavailer Crazy as well. Thats 3 clubs there which will most probably be running joint meets between us. it'll be up to you if you want CS to be part of it.
The EA region is known as one of the toughest regions to run due to the lack of interest from the members so if we can 5 clubs coming together in the East could transform this region.
U2U me if your interested.

question how many corsasport members are in the EA currently?? any one know?
I think NovalutionGSI is right all 5 clubs come together could be one hell of a meet after all we all like our vauxhalls... and its not like some corsas done have calibra or omga or astra engines in could be a good chance for people to share tips an tricks
lets get the ball rolling
