Gayest thread ever.
Though not surprising Cosmo posting pics of men with shorts on.

Totally difference player to Alonso, he players in a more attacking role and has a much better cutting pass rather than the range of passing Alonso had.
Should mean a more attacking style of play from us which is how we've been playing lately which is good to see, with Alonso it was all a bit defensive at times - although rather he was still here.

No, my mind is too distracted at the thought of how ugly MK is.
And at Aquilani coming on against United at Anfield and scoring the winner in front of the Kop.

Played about 15-20mins tonight for the reserves in a 2-0 win. Looked good on the ball and happy to do plenty of jogging, sprinting, etc. Had obviously been told not to go in for any hard tackles though as pulled out of 1 or 2.
Not sure if he is ready for being on the bench on Sunday, but will certainly play some part next week against Arsenal in the Carling Cup I would of thought.

Have you seen how we've been playing it's going to take him alot longer longer than alot of lfc fans think to start making an impact imo but he looks to be a top draw player as long as we can keep him fit, what makes you think he won't 'set our team alight'

As he is a ball playing midfielder that we currently need - badly.
I'll admit I havent seen huge amounts of him for Roma, but what I have seen since I hunted them out once he joined us, is someone who plays slightly higher than Alonso up the pitch and has a much better short/cutting pass sort of game. The type of player Torres will love as he will thread a ball through to him.
Ive also spoken to and seen comments form a decent amount of Roma fans who cant sing his praises enough about just how good he is and how little we managed to get him for because he was injured.

Injuries isn't it? He has been injury prone for the past 3 or 4 years according to an article on BBC Sport. I haven't seen him play so dont have a clue what he is like

He's had 3 bad injuries on the trott, all different though (?, Knee, the latest he's getting over is ankle which he had surgery on in the summer). He says that the roma medical staff were forever changing and therefore he kept being brought back in too quickly. At least it's not one weak area, hopefully with our staff giving him more time he'll be ok.

Yeah our medical staff and him seem confident they have treated this properly and he has blasted the Roma staff for not taking the rehab properly.
