Mephedrone (4-Methylmethcathinone) is realtively new, designed by Neorganics a few years back, apparently it's offers similar experiences to that of MDMA and Coke and can be pretty addictive. There have been a few deaths apparently caused by Mephedrone and only one has been directly linked. Not a lot is know about it, although current reports show that it can cause heart issues, convulsions, colouring limbs blue etc (although there is no hard evidence to support any of this).

It is currently legal in the UK unlike Israel, Sweden, Finland etc, but it is currently being looked into and currently speculation is that Mephedrone will be made illegal within a year or so.

Horrible stuff! No where near as good as real/good mdma. Has horrible side effects. Shaky eyes, extreme paranoia can happen when out in public and only lasts about a hour or so compared to mdma.
