£30m will buy the 51 percent that is up for sale.obviously to clear the debt.
Dont know what the story is regarding the bank running the club.
I reckon it will all depend on wether Rangers are still in europe after xmas with regards to clearing out players to bring some funds in.
And to be honest i dont even think we'd get £6m for Bougherra.He owes us £3m the bank would settle with getting £3m back imo

On the situation
The club will not go into administration - I believe it's a PR stunt by the club to try and "find" a buyer sooner rather than later due to the euro run........

The smug replies are purely for Edd, you should surely be aware of that by now.
I'm not blind to the situation both clubs are in, in fact being a shareholder of one and taking an avid interest in the other I'd like to think I'm more clued up than the average person.
We missed a chance to bury you last season and you're the champions, you're being 'ran' by a largely taxpayer owned corporation that is denying their pull within the club and the Scottish government has now intervened. There's no chance whatsoever you'll go under at the minute with the impact that would have on society in this country. That doesn't mean to say I can't gloat the same as your elder relatives would have done when the bankers were literally 5 minutes away from padlocking Parkhead before Fergus McCann stepped in and saved us. That was in a period of non-recessional economic conditions as well.

tbh, at the moment i would happily sell the entire first team squad and play the under 19s as they will maybe offer more in terms of quality. and if not i could take getting pumped by unknown teams if it was a bunch of kids we had on the park.

we only have 8 half decent players. who are either awesome or shite. its never in between and more often than not, they are shite. hopefully the spark of the atlantic league rumour will encourage a buyer in. if we did move into a league like that we could make s fortune
