problem is, 1 bolt has snapped off and is stuck in the gearbox 1 has thread partly rounded and other is fine.

how can i get the snapped bolt out? it sits about 3mm in the hole.

and other question is, my mate has a f18 box, are the contents out of my f20 interchangeable?

or is it easyer to just bolt the f18 box on?

easy out for the one that's snapped off, for the damaged thread, either helicoil it or re tap it bigger.

gearbox innards aren't interchangeable in that way


it just about makes sense btw!

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
