Morning all

Just quick question really

Got some dbilas throttle bodies for my x16xe which havent been fitted yet. Been reading on this forum and others saying there not "proper" throttle bodies unless you get some trumpets fitted to them. would it be worth for me to get the trumpets 1st and fit TB's later or could i fit now install the software management and fit the trumpets later ?

and the average price for them quite like the look of the carbon fibre trumpets

Would I notice a differance with the trumpets and what do they do ?

cheers

not just a remap mate, ideally with TB's you need stand alone management/piggyback ecu to get the most out of it

Are the trumpets not just for look pretty much? I didn't think it made any difference if you removed them, not dead clued up on TB's though.

Are the trumpets just the conical bits of hollow pastic that go on the end of each throttle body? Or are they a bit more technical than that?
