I bought this a while ago now but only just got round to making a thread.
I bought it needing a headgasket and a rear spring cup welding so...
I have done,
Headgasket,
Head bolts,
Cam cover gasket,
Cambelt, waterpump, tensioner.
Standard rear lights (came with clears)
Cut down plain plates.
Lowered it 60mm
Fitted my Sony cd player with usb and bluetooth etc.
Decat.
Depos off my old car.
To do:
Clutch,
shortshift or maybe just new linkage bushes.
red rubstrips,
sideskirts of some sort,
splitter of some sort,
backbox.
Then maybe a few engine bits and bobs.
Pretty much how it stands at the moment,
Car was just washed and claybarred (no polish or wax so not really that shiny)
With my GFs new car 1996 vs 2003

Pointless update:
Had two new tyres today, now £100 lighter, ended up with hankooks that the bloke at the tyre place was raving about.
Also bidding on a 1.6 ecu and gubbins as the car was a 1.4 but was converted to a 1.6 without the ECU being changed.
On the look out for a exhaust, cant decide whether to keep my centre box or not because I use the motorway for a 40 mile round trip most days so I dont want it to drone but I heard a mates 1.4 sport without a centre silencer and it sounded good.

Fitted the ecu and the car is so much better,
Hankooks seem ok and getting a semi smooth boot as soon as I have the funds.
Also got bored and painted the rocker cover mattblack and fitted new stainless bolts, looks good but makes the manifolds look shabby

Dropped my boot off earlier for it to be welded then painted, also getting spoiler painted and the fuel cap smoothed and painted at the same time.
Car is looking sorry for its self with no filler flap, a rotten boot with black paint on the rear window, and the number plate in the rear window
