Basically the same thing but the binary is being represented backwards? strange!
What way have you been taught to write binary? which end is one, left or right?

The right end is 1.
So basically 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1.

You'll have to do what ever method they expect from you.. Its all a bit of a farce really as negative binary numbers are subjective.
