use to train (weights etc) about a year ago, went 10st to 10.9 in about 3 months, i was training so hard, had a great figure, well toned etc, but wanted more bulk, but the food intake was silly i just couldnt eat enough in a day..

anyways i stopped training and went down to about 10.4 (morning weight) which i have been for about 8 months, i started training a week ago, changed my protein and gone on tablets (not steroids), have been eating everything and anything as i want to bulk (not botherd if i put on a little fat at this moment in time) but im now 11.2 in the morning now (thats being about 11.3 on a night) but i have just weighed myself now and im 11.6 and still have a meal and a shake left tonight before bed, so i can see myself being 11.4 in the morning..

dont know whats going on, my metabolism must be slowing down or something..

i spending all my time eating and sitting on the pan...

it defo aint the best way to bulk as im eating anything any everything (not eating crisps and snacks etc though)

im starting to change some foods im eating, which in time will all be clean good food, and going to start and cut up a bit once i have put on some more weight..

i am not fat though what so ever..

i remember a piece of advice from years ago with regards to bulking "if you're not blocking the toilet at least twice a day you're not eating enough"

12st is my all time goal as i think 12st at 5'8 is a good size..

Until about 5yrs ago (when I was 20) I couldnt put weight on at all, I was fairly well built naturally but had little excess fat anywhere. Think I was about 10.5st.

I started drinking, stopped playing football regularly and managed to put on about 4.5st in 5yrs

your suppose to weigh yourself like once a week at exactly the same time, first thing in a morning to get an accurate body weight. your body weight will fluctuate with how much you take in on a day and how much water is in your body at the time...

i doubt very much youve put on 12lb in 5 days at all

12lb in 5 days would be a shit load of water retention and fat. mostly water though. probably 0.4lb of muscle, 3lb of fat and the rest water...

I'm naturally slim but have big shoulders, as soon as I hit the weights at 16 (10years ago eeeek!) I just turned into this adonis type thing with appetite of a Raptor, it's not the case now though.

Even on gear id find it very hard to believe someone putting on 12lbs in less than a week. Unless you ate a 12lb weight plate?

Work it out using scientifically proven facts: The fastest the human body can grow lean muscle naturally is a rate of 1.5-2lb per 4 weeks, so 0.4-0.5lbs a week. A pound of fat is made up of 3500 excess calories coming from any food source.

Water retention can be down to many factors, too much/not enough sodium, lack of water intake etc.

So to gain 12lbs in 8 days would mean:

0.5 lbs of muscle was gained.

35,000 excess calories wer consumed per week, which is around 4300 a day extra, so daily intake would have had to be between 6000-7000

2lbs of water retention could be down to the increase in carbs and salt without adequate water intake.

i put on over a stone, about 17lbs in 9 days when i was on Oxys, so its not impossible to put it on

i was eating clean, never bulk ate, only had my usual food everyday

Ive used oxys, not quite 19lb in 9 days. 19lb in 28 days but only 6lb of that was muscle the rest was just water!

yea i think about 10-11lbs was retention, still kept a good 7-8lbs in muscle after the cycle tho!
