looking for a bit of info kinda urgent, could anyone tell me the diff between these 2 engines z10xe and z10xep?

And what would need to be done to fit an z10xe in a car previously with a z10xep

think the xep is a corsa C engine mate

they not both corsa c engines? I thought a c10xe was a corsa b engine

thats wat am sayin a xe is a corsa b engine and the xep is a corsa c engine

C10XE never existed, 1ltr 12v engines started on X.

X10XE came in the B and C, the Z10XE/XEP were the later C revisions, which come under more stringent emissions regulations.

XEP was the replacement for the XE model, has higher compression, slightly more capacity due to slightly longer bore. Not sure on other differences, I'd imagine the block will have the same mounting points...

However, they run on a completely different ECU, it might work replacing an XEP engine with an XE revision, but you will be down on performance and probably run into running issues...

so really changing the engines as long as the ecu was changed too it'd work fine
