My mother wants an MP3 player for Christmas and i don't know which to go for. I've always had Ipod's but she says she doesn't want one of them. it has to be easy to operate because she is old/female and therefore incapable of learning how stuff works. looking at around £80 maximum.
can anyone reccomend any?

Ipod's are easiest ones i have used tbh. big screens and simple menu's.
Don't think there is any competition really.

Sandisk Sansa Clip, my old man has one and it's brilliant for the price. The Gadget Show rated it above the opposing Ipod and another couple of players that were up to twice the price.

cowon? Not sure on the price of them these days (where never cheap), but they certainly are one of the best for sound quality and are pretty easy to use
