Missus has just got a new ipod and when she tries to put music on it, it just says something like "doesnt recognise this ipod" then ejects.
Anybody got any ideas please?

Plug it into the computer. Right click it and do a full reformat. Just done it with mine.

You have to format a new iPod, don't you?
Comes Mac formatted IIRC, which is no good for Windows.
