possibly looking at getting one of these, initially i was after a 1.9cdti but to be honest im not all that bothered about mpg etc, have found a very nice ex police one with low miles, full history. just wondered if anybody has one and what they are like as a daily drive etc?

I think the Oil filters for the GSI are only available from Vaux. £50 odd quid

well the car in question has just had dual mass flywheel, clutch, plugs and filters etc so all good on that front

I always used to think Police cars were worth the money. After working for them for a few years, i'd avoid it like the plague. The traffic cars are generally better looked after, but there'll be bits of broken trim and iffy wiring everywhere.
