Just double-checking. Am I definitely correct in thinking that the airbag light being lit on the dash is not an MOT failure? Something to do with it being classed as a convenience or something.

my old car passed MOT with the airbag warning light on, no problems

i took the bulb out on my old corsa as it had a non airbag wheel fitted.

asked him and he said it would just be advisory if the light is on

depending on the fault. mine apparently has an intermitent signal to the drivers air bag, it comes back on every time I start the car if I clear it

mines on also im worried incase i crash and my airbag doesnt go off ?

youl need to check that out then, could be the light playing up or could be the airbag. only one way to find out!

My friends light was on a few years back. We didn't really know why and he never got it checked. One day he crashed his car into a tree with me as a passenger, the airbags didn't go off
