Keep it and work from where you are. Haven't you done the brakes and things to it, you have already made a start. Why throw money away? Just save money and work it out.

IMO id be worried about the undernieth condition. i.e sell it for a better looked after car. I sold my gsi which was mint outside inside and undernieth for 1200 quid. Thats isnt alot of money for aimo perfect looking car.
