jesus, tbh first picture i completely didnt see the barrier and thought that doesnt look too bad then the next picture and jesus lucky to both be alive.

Not nice

Are the people on that forum thick or what though? Their comments suggest that they don't think that car is very safe, looking at the car and the fact that the passenger got out fine proves otherwise.

bloody hell.

won't make me drive slower in future like others say but will make you aware of what could happen if you were to have the same sort of accident as he/she did.

The same here.

I wouldn't like to be a burdon on other people. I'd hate to rely on someone else to do things for me all the time.

Yes it would be a major shock to the system, and yes you would have to make serious adjustments to your life, but surely your family and friends would rather have you minus a leg or two than dead?

Soldiers and people with disabilities seem able to live quite fulfilling lives without a limb or two. Just look at the South African chap with the carbon fibre limbs who ran in the paralympics.

some ppl can't come to terms with it tho i don't know how i would feel, i run play alot of sport etc deffo something earth shattering
