I'm looking to get some 2ltr brakes for the Corsa so I had a nip to the scrappies today to see if they had anything in, they only had one Cav in which was an LS, not sure on the engine cos some one had had the dash out and I couldn't pop the bonnet (the LS's came in 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0)

A fella that was in there said all Cav calipers are the same and when I looked they were a tight fit behind the 14in steelies on it but when I spoke to my mate he seemed to remember having problems after getting calipers off a 1.6 where he said they had different carriers to the 2ltrs which don't fit Corsas so basically just wondering if anyone can clear this up for me.

Will these calipers be the same as the 2ltr calipers I'm after and will the carriers be right or should I wait for them to get a 2ltr in and get the calipers off that?

i fitted disc brakes of a cav dont know what cav it was but it had discs all round the calipers fitted straight on but clearence i cant help i have 15in alloys

Get your sen to scrap yard mate and look for four stud vectra, they will be right !
