Got vouchers for argos and looking to get a lcd tv for the living room. want at least a 32" hd tv around the £300 mark. Seen this one but not sure if hitachi are any good i heard they are sometimes rebadged budget sets?

Good price that, think it was on HUKD, considered it myself. Personally I can't tell hardly any difference between 720p/1080i & 1080p... I sold TVs for over a year and would often ask customers if they could tell the difference (I set two sets up next to each other) and no one ever could!

I would personally go for it, I trust Hitachi...

Every make's got their up and downsides. I've got a Samsung which looks great, but the sound is bloody awful! Fixed with a AE 2.1 system
