Has anyone used these before on either manifold?
Know of any UK companies that make them?

From what I've read, I think they work better on the exhaust manifold (if you have a turbo!), supposed to give less heat transfer through the mani to the turbo

yeah the inlet ones. i dont really think that much to them. few friends have had them on seats and i had one on mine and cant really say the inlet temps went down by that much, i mean it may help a touch, but id not bother about it personally. mine is sitting on a shelf in my garage.

Well in that case, I wonder if they could be made for the exhaust side? Surely it would have more benifits?

exhaust on a turbo gets up to some quite whacky temps. would be totally possible although i imagine the material needed wouldnt be cheap or commercially sellable for the price.

im running 11mm carp tufnol spacers on my inlet manifold, so kinda like a gasket. Theyre supposed to be quite good but iv never seen any results from charge temps on the net or anything
