As you may or may not know already i got snowed in twice in the last couple of weeks because big RWD V8s dont really do ice/snow very well.. So to keep me mobile over winter im thinking about buying a shed for a runabout

Ideas please
has to be FWD and small engine.. would say the obvious and get a corsa but i really dont want to own another one lol

cant be more than £600 ideally

2 lots of tax, 2 lots of insurance, poss MOT etc.. Is it really worth it just for bad weather?

I was looking at getting a runabout and small cars seem to hold a bit of a premium at the moment due to cheap running costs and price of petrol etc.

£600 will get you a piece of shit and you may end up paying twice that keeping the thing running.

£1000-1300ish will get you in a reasonable KA/Fiesta

any fiesta will suit your needs.

don't see the point though as we hardly ever get snow.

off topic, saw one of those chrysler 300c things in scotland get stuck in a car park. done a burnout for about a minute trying to get up a hill

succeeded in the end though.

Get whatever you can find that is the best value for money. I just pimp around in a 306 all year round, cheap motoring.

You are better of putting the £600 in a bank account and just hiring a little car whenever needed.
