Random one 
My desktop running Win7 will not let me get ) ie shift & 0 on screen. If i press it it says ALT:
I've tried different keyboards and its still the same!!!
Any ideas?

pull button off and clean it? or use the character map and save ) in your clipboard then just paste everytime u need it? or try another keyboard? if its still same with new keyboard look at uninstalling keyboard language and then readding it through control panel

also the '1' key doesn't work either.. i'm thinking that it might be something wrong with the keyboard socket on the motherboard?
