Mate, don't even think about paying for this yourself! You only need the person in the Clio to put in an injury claim and you're potentially down a few thousand. They may say they've no injuries now but wait until they wake up tomorrow and no doubt have a load of people telling them its easy cash.
If you avoid insurers, you forfeit any level of protection for being liable for it. Replacement car, injury, legal fees, will be thousands. The insurance won't go up that much and if it does, buy her a bike.

As they know about the accident they will log it as a fault accident anyway so you might aswell let them pay out as there wont be any difference. If they didnt know then you could have sorted it out unknown to them.

not going to mate going to let my daughters insurance take the hit, took the advice from a few peeps on here so not going to pay out anything, already got her covered on the new 206 no extra charge.
