Is there anything you can do to stop water getting to the batterys on these.
The missuses battery has packed up on hers, And when I went to charge it i noticed it was thick with ice on the top of it.
Personally I think its a crap design and has anyone done anything to stop water getting to it?

Water shouldn't be pooling on the top that badly, mine never has (even after washing). Is the scuttle panel and the terminal cover on properly??

Its with all the snow we have had. She never cleared it all off properly (Typical woman) and its froze.
But when its melted its gone onto the battery and froze on top of it.
Just wanted to know of any way people have tried to stop it, As it will probably only happen again!

Sits under the grill which i always thought was a little dodgy to be honest and there is no cover over it.
Might be worth speaking with someone at vaux to see if you can get some sort of cover.
