Got the mrs a Acer Aspire one. got XP installed on it.
Now it wont let us on cos its not genuine XP. The guy who installed it gave me the following advice that did not work......
Reboot into safe mode (F8)
Then use Start -> Run and enter the following text in the dialog box:
regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll
Then do it again with the following text:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll
Then reboot
This should take you into windows,
Boot into safe mode, click Start→Run and type regedit then check these values.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFTNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
(change Activation Required value to zero)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion
(change RegDone value to 1)
Then reboot to normal and it should let you in then you can use the crack
To get into safe mode:
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
Once you're in safe mode:

Run it and it should fix the activation.
If it doesnt let me know and will send other instructions!
