as above has any one had this yet? i had two corsa's freeze today 1.4 8v water pump solid belt came off and that was that. 2l 16v corsa solid, two fans and a heat gun on the block 2hrs later running again then a pipe split.........

Mine had frozen pipes, got half way to work and got rather hot lol

Got a kettle of water from the postoffice, and she was away running well again!

My m3's not been started since before xmas & i'm a little worried about doing so when I get home.

Jade says its covered in about 5" of ice

mines been fine! i just use the coolant and anti freeze mixture from work just sick of the locks freezing though!

my runabout corsa sport has been sitting three weeks and was covered in loads of snow all i did was pop bonnet and check it wasn't frozen its got plenty antifreeze so it started first turn of the key.

if u wanna stop ur locks from freezing up, spray some wd40 in the barrell!!

my redtop froze .. turned key .. click click click .. thawed it out started it and had a terrible rattle and squeel comming from the water pump .. new pump and cambelt kit 150 pound later sorted

My dads honda froze Didnt have any anti freeze in it had to flush it with warm`ish water

Get some anti-freeze in your cars! Freezing water can expand with enough force to crack your block, head, pipework radiator e.t.c...!

I had water in mine, it froze just before xmas, cambelt slipped and bent most valves and also cracked a waterway in the head .

Started mine for the first time in almost a fortnight today - started first turn of the key and came up to temperature nicely. No issues here!
