if u can find out the remote host name for kazaa the server then u just have to add another connection but change the remote host from msn.messenger.com to the kazaa host

You can directly config a socks4/5 proxy within Kazaa so I'd assume kazaa lite too.

You know what firewall/proxy is being used?

Been trying to find the remote host name for kazza steve but no luck

Not sure what firewall/proxy is being used Tim, we are linked to a network run by an outside agency. They use symantec gh3y internet security. Kaaza lite will only let you configure a socks 5, if the proxy is socks 4 will this make a difference?

perhaps if i can get remote host name for kaaza then this httpport thing will work?

Well you'll need connections to other hosts to download anything so it won't help. You basically need all outgoing on port 1214 to work...
