When Avatar goes on sale on DVD and BluRay format I do hope they don't try and pass it off as 3d just because you get some glasses in the case, ala Final Destination '3D'.

Gonna see it either this week or next, hopefully it'll have quietened down a bit, gotta take the missus so has to be evening time.

3D is in this year.

When it comes out there will be proper 3D tv's available.

I've seen films on video in 3D, it still worked. You just don't get the same experience on the small screen.

They'll be expensive to start with as always so probably not most people.

I've never seen the point in walking out of films

Although you didn't miss anything in this particular case, there are films that are crap up until the last scene then become epic.
