hey, may be a silly question but any help would be appreciated
got a 1.4 16 ecotec corsa, cambelt has snapped, so obviously fucked the head. Been advised to get another head and just change it over, cash is limited for this due to work and weather, what i wanted to know is does the 1.6 16v head go on or has it gotta be another 1.4

AFAIK the 1.6 head will fit but will give little if any gains at all

whats AFAIK? and it wouldnt be for any gain, just that ive seen a few 1.6's for sale, and hardly any 1.4's

technically not. there are differences. the c16xe head is a far better head in std form.
