One for the movie peeps.
Was having probs a while ago with downloaded movies (.avi) not playing on divx.
I was told to download an xvid codec. Once i have done this what do i do with it, can i add it to another media player i already have?? If so what ones will take it.
Any help is appriciated.
Cheers

Codec install into windows and not a specific media player. Should work across the board... Just install it and that's it.

Iv just tried sending it but it's gunna take like twenty minutes to send, so i would probably try downloding it from elswhere.
Do you use kazaa? I found it by just typing in 'Divx pack' and 'codec pack' came up. It was about 10mb and it should under an hour with a 56K. Sorry i couldn't be anymore help.

A useful download, for those of you that watch quite a few movies on your computers:
http://avicodec.duby.info/ftp/avicod109.exe
Download and install it, run it, and then load the movie in it that you're having problems playing. It'll tell you which codec (audio or video) that you need, and also where to get them from...
