i think attached to crash bar seems best idea as im trying to reduce wires in the bay.

Mine on the B were just anywhere, rather cramped:


As you can see, one on top of hose, one infront of battery

Ones on the C are tucked under the headlights, cant see them at all.

yeh ill be hiding wires on my new corsa so i cant have some unsightly ballasts, so ill put them under the head lights totlay out of view . Thanks

haha ive kinda done my properly and hidden them under the headlamps and actually covered the wires rather than just dumping them in the engine bay!
