Shit with computers so the only way I know how is by a system restore and its coming up saying,
System Restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on system restore, contact your domain Administrator.
Not a clue what that means, anyone shed any light? Or offer an altervnative of doing it?

Something has disabled system restore (google system restore group policy and you'll find some solutions). However, i would look at backing up all your data (things you need to keep/want etc) and doing a complete reformat (obviously you'll need the Windows CD & Software), and then make sure you have an Antivirus (i recommend Avast Free version) installed before you start installing software and copying across your backed up data etc.
