was in vaux yesterday waiting for some warranty work to be done on me corsa c milkfloat, and I asked for a quote on some mudflaps, anyway £15 per pair ok then the lovely man told me that I wouldnt be able to have mudflaps on the rear of the car if I had something he called side moulding stone chip protectors or something silly, so I asked him to point it out on the vectra and the corsa active in the showroom and he pointed to the sideskirts so I just said 'you mean the sideskirts?' and he said yes.
anyone came across this ? :S I dont see how the sideskirts could interfear with rear mudflaps ?

me either seems the mud flap is attached to rear bumper
side moulding stone protectors may interfere with front mud flaps

They may interfere with front mudflaps. I wouldnt have thought so on a C tho as the arches are the same on the inside weather or not there is a skirt.

Vauxhall state "not used when sill panel stone protector fitted" - I think that probably means "not needed when sill....." as we had them on an SXi so they do fit.

Dont Get the ones designed for the Corsa C!!
Go in and get Ones from a diff model of car for example Mk4 astra (they have them in bags and come in pairs and they have the Vaux griffin logo on them.
I fitted these to the front and rear of my corsa c and are a LOT better than the shitty ones that are made for the Corsa C.
I think they cost me about 12 quid a pair, but they are so much better!
Trust me!

By the way if u buy the vaux griffin ones meant for another car, u ;ll get clamps with them which iu cant really use... so wat i did was put a few self-tappers thru the mudflap and into my arches. the back flap had to have a wee bit cut out cos it was catchin on part of the arch liner.
its quite easy to do anyway!
