Thinking about moving my gauges into a panel where my headunit is atm, but still want to have my stereo etc.
Where would be a good place to mount it??
Under glovebox maybe??
And could i pic request places where people have located gauges?? Just to get some ideas

Remote mount the face plate with a ribbon cable, put the faceplate at the bottom of the centre console on a hinge or on your sun visor

Sure it wouldn't be easier to just have an a pillar gauge pod? Or have the gauge pod that replaces the ash tray? Like the white corsa in the latest total vauxhall.

It looks good but having the gauges down there doesn't seem too practical

it wasn't. but it was only vaults and oil pressure. not something you stare at whilst your driving reall,y was more a gimmick than actually practical

I remember a guy on Novaload (PNG) that remounted his radio under his seat with the facia sunken into his sun visor. Looked pretty smart. Im sure theres a project thread somewhere on PNG.
