Right, my wheel bearing fucked and was grinding behind the wheel. Took it to the garage thinking the brakes were binding, to find it was the wheel bearing. Anyway, since they've fixed it, my alloy wheel has got covered in like the metal/rust, grinded power crap. And it's solid. I cannot get it off. I tryed using alloy cleaner, wonder wheels, pressure washer. Using pressure washer managed to remove a bit of the stuff, but only tiny speckles. It's annoying, it's quite solid. Does anyone know the best way to remove the stuff? I don't really wanna scratch the wheel, it's worse cause its 16 spoke wheel, so it's pretty noticeable!

Any help would be appreciated. THanks

Yup reasonably aggressive clay bar such as Dodo Purposeful purple, Sonus Grey or Megs Pro Red should do the trick. It's not a particularly quick job though!

So wash with wheel cleaner, rinse, clay, rinse, polish and seal
