i was under the astra the other day and i found that the inner cv joints have a lot of play where they go into the gearbox, im guessing its the bearings or something,
is it going to be a new gearbox or can the bearings be changed?
also is it a gearbox out job or can i get to them by removing the plate bolted onto the bottom of the gearbox?

as in you can pull the shaft/cv out the box.

or the shaft on the cv?

well, where the cv joint goes into the box, it has play there.. its wobbly, i took a quick vid ill try get it uploaded asap
