being a bit harsh to the guy here!

as above, get yourself a K&N panel filter and derestrict the air box.

strip out everything else.

Although I would recommend a good service if that hasnt been done in a while, cant hurt!

strip it, pannel filter, drill the airbox with extra cold air feed. service it, de cat. will feel like a new car

As said.

Panel filter, de-restrict airbox.

You might be able to pickup a cam for £50 (if we're on about the 1.4 8v C14 lump). But then u'll need a pulley as well.


Twin carbs, cam, exhaust manifold + full system, bit of head work.

Hello 120bhp and a great little engine.

OR


Best bet is for £50, get down a scrappy, and source a 1.6 8v nova engine. Instant 20bhp more and im sure you'll pickup a 1.6 8v for £50-£100.
