My wife is now up to 8 years no claims and for the vrs paid 420 last year, inc protected no claims, courtesy car etc. This year she cannot get a quote below 590 even thats without a courtesy car. So another years no claims and 170 quid more. Yeah that makes sense..... Anyone else having similar problems? Tried all the comparison sites, none of which are proving much good. No wonder people drive uninsured

Car insurance prices are on the rise arent they? Probably due to the amount of claims over this cold period because of noobs not being able to control their cars and sliding into each other

I'm sick of car insurance... One of my reasons for buying the MG was so I could use a specialist classic insurer who quoted me £300 fully comp with a settled value and thats not using any of my NCB! And hopefully when I get my hands on the megane its going to be group 3/4 insurance and cost me tuppence!
I worked out my yearly outlay for insurance and tax on my two cars and motorbike should be less than £1000 next year. More money to spend on goodies!

Its on the rise due to the amount of uninsured drivers, and because of everyone crashing in the shit weather we keep having.
I'd just stop moaning and pay it tbh. Would you really want to spend £xK on a car and not have any insurance, then have the worse happen and have an accident and lose all the £ and a smashed car.
