We i fancy starting a Project thread even tho i bought my car in May 2009.

Right.......Its a Astra Coupe 1.8 SE2 with Irmscher kit on. Paid £3500 for it with 70k on the clock. Here are the pics from Pistonheads







Drove 186 miles each way to pick it up and was Very Very happy with it ! Total minter.

Right first things i did was get an Opel badge for the boot to replace the ' i ' badge, Total clean inside and out and fitted my plain Grill and bonnet struts

Next on the list was to referb the wheels and go Anthracite


Did it with a couple of mates and they come out amazing

Ordered some Opel badges for my wheels too.

Next on the list was Lowness





Raceland Coilovers for a bargain £180 !! They are amazing for the price, ride quality is perfect !

Lowered about 50mm all round

Right car show time

Lowered the Front a tad more, Calipers painted and K&N fitted. Massive clean in and out and DADA !!

Also fitted 6k hids and had a stainless steel cat back exhaust system from Exhaustsuk.co.uk in Sheffield ( No pics really as i didnt think i was going to do a Project )

Just had the cambelt and water pump done.

Right here are afew pics of my boot build were currently working on



The box is all fitted into the car and subs are mounted. Currently doing the covers that will sit over the subs and painting them same colour as the car. I have a little plan for the covers so you will have to wait and see











And thats about it at the moment !

Plans for 2010 are

*New discs and pads all round
*Full service
* New Rims
* Finish boot build
*Enjoy !!! And take to all the shows this year

I will update when i get some new goodies
