Got a RR sesh tomorrow so am wanting to upgrade to v power for the run.

So tank is in the red atm, if I fill up with v power now will it automatically adjust the fueling/air flow to run better?

I recall hearing that it takes a tank or two for the ecu to realise and if u want to adjust straight away you have to disconnect the battery to reset it all?

Any help appreciated

Depends on the car/engine. Some cars wont adjust at all.

Probably not worth it tbh. If it did work and you won't use it all the time, it'll just be an unfair reading.

how will it be an unfair reading?

just because you dont use that fuel daily? a RR session is to determine the maximum bhp out the car, putting decent petrol in for the run is not an unfair reading

Well i'm aiming for 200bhp and they're 197bhp standard - so fractionally better is what i need

Any input then?

i would disagree that the point in putting it on the RR is to get the biggest numbers you can, i would be more concerned about checking the car is running, boosting and fueling ect. correctly

in the vxr there is a deffinite difference on how it drives between regular unleaded and super unleaded, but i wouldnt know how much that is in numbers, it just feels much better

Supposedly Makes a difference on the 350z engines, but apparently they are mapped on higher RON fuel originally.

yep

standard they are 225bhp, 236lb/ft.

with 95 ron my car made 238bhp, 280 lb/ft.

with 99 ron my car made 252bhp, 288 lb/ft.

i have no engine mods, just drove it properly from the first mile.
