Hey guys, after much deliberation i think i may sell my rallye.
I've owned it for the last 2 months, however this wasd my car two years ago, and i bought it off a forum member, i had it for about 5 months previously then sold it to my friend who's owned it for 18 months, so i've always known the car.
The basics.
Located - Tamworth, Staffordshire
CAT 1 Alarm - 2 keys
HPI Clear
Mileage - 100,000
MOT - 12 months
Tax - 6 months
Colour - white
Service History - upto 80k then serviced by a friend who is a master tech at Nissan
The car over the past 2 years has been pretty much overhauled.
Lowered by Carl in 2008 - Rear beam in perfect condition
Eibach springs fitted and bilstein OEM replacement shocks
P bushes replaced - late 2008
Track rods replaced - 2 weeks old
Solid engine mounts - 2 weeks old
Magnex 3" exit, 2.5" bore system and 2.5" de-cat
Braided lines front and rear - 2 weeks old
Mintex 1155 pads - 2 weeks old
Brembo discs - 2 weeks old
Ronal lightweight matt black alloys 15x7 ET15
Toyo R888s with only 40 miles of use so like new
Sparco circuit pro bucket seats and side mounts, driver side mounted on slider - Immaculate condition
Suede dished steering wheel from rally designs - 2 weeks old
TRS 4 point 3" harnesses with aerolock - Immaculate condition
Please note, ALL mechanical work has been done by Carl (mechanical_repairs) Apart from the servicing, although the new engine will have, fresh gearbox and engine oil and also fresh coolant and brake fluid.
I have receipts for all work.
Gear box is very smooth and not notchy on up or down changes, gear stick is not sloppy at all either.
Engine Wise I had problems with the engine when i first got it, being down on compression. I took it to Carl, (Peugeot specialist on the forum for anyone who doesn't know) and it was thought to be the head. So it had basically a recon head fitted, head re-skimmed, valve seats re-cut etc, After re-fitting the head there was still a problem with compression on one cylinder so this was diagnosed as the bottom end. It's now having a full bottom end rebuild with new shells, bearings, crank reground, new piston rings etc.
Carl is offering me a 6 month warranty upon completion, this has cost me just over 1500 pounds for all this engine work so it will come with a immaculate engine with warranty which is very rare as you can probably imagine.
Bodywork is in pretty decent condition, one dent on the rear quarter but this will be removed by dent devils before the car is sold and a crack on the driver side bumper can be seen in the picture but i can also get this repaired before sale.
I'm not expecting by any stretch of the imagination to make my money back, but i feel with the quality parts and engine this car now comes with i'll be asking for £2650 OVNO.
I'm not needing to or in any rush to sell so please no low offers.
Sorry for the poor pictures, the car is currently having the work done at Carls so i can take some more once it's back with me.
